NEW YORK — Retailers are rolling out Black Friday savings early on appliances, with Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Sears among those offering deals in early November. At Home Depot, discounts went into effect November 4, while Sears is holding events throughout the month beginning November 5. Since home appliances are usually a more involved purchase, the head start allows customers to begin browsing, and negotiating, early. Customer service representatives on the floor, who will be inundated with other purchases at the month’s end, will now have time to handle appliance purchases on a staggered basis throughout the month.
