BMR has welcomed the hardware division of Shippagan Enterprises Ltd as an associate member under the BMR Express banner. The fourth-generation family business is one of the largest wholesale distributors in Canada, serving the commercial fishing and aquaculture industries in Shippagan, N.B. “The expertise of BMR Group’s personnel, its distribution network, and its wide range of products will allow us to offer better service to the customers of our Shippagan store,” said president Marc-André Robichaud in a release.
The hardware store was the company’s first venture. Today it counts 15 employees and a total sales area of 7,000 square feet. Shippagan Enterprises’ five other companies include International Seafood & Bait and Vernon D’eons Fishing Supplies Ltd.
