Jeff Kinnaird has been named CEO and president of the Peak Group of Companies, effective Oct. 1. The Peak Group exclusively supplies Home Depot stores in North America with home reno and outdoor living products.
He replaces Peak founder John Gross, who will assume the role of executive chair and leave the day-to-day operations under Kinnaird’s direction.
Kinnaird actually helped get Peak established in 1998 when he was store manager of the Home Depot in Nanaimo, B.C. He went on to serve as president of Home Depot Canada from 2016 to 2020 before moving to head office in Atlanta as EVP of merchandising until last year.
