Lowe’s Canada unveils next stores

TORONTO — Lowe’s Canada has just announced more stores for its expansion in this country. In addition to completing the acquisition of 12 former Target sites, the company also plans to open two more locations in Ontario, with construction currently underway in Ancaster and Mississauga. “Lowe’s has to keep expanding now that they’re here. They have to keep going to get the critical mass they need to be truly competitive with Home Depot and Rona,” our own editor Michael McLarney told the Toronto Star.
