Australian hardware chain Bunnings has rolled out a battery recycling service to all its stores. The program was launched in November following a pilot in the state of Victoria and now extends throughout the retailer’s store network. “This program is particularly helpful for our trade and DIY customers, with the collection units being purposely designed to also receive power tool batteries,” said Jen Tucker, Bunnings’ director of merchandise.
