Canac, the independent home improvement chain based in the Quebec City area, has received approval from the city of Magog, Que., for development of a new store. Canac applied for the approval a year ago, and promises to abide by local noise and light pollution by-laws in order to construct the new location, which is expected to open in 2024. Canac has more than 30 stores throughout Quebec.
