L’ANCIENNE-LORETTE, Que. – Canac has hired publicity group Turbulences to boost the launch of its 24th store, in Beauharnois, Que. The Quebec City-based hardware chain is pouring $100 million over the next five years into expansion in the suburbs of Montreal. Construction on the store in Beauharnois, about half an hour from the boundary with Ontario, is slated to wrap this summer.
