QUEBEC CITY — Canac-sponsored NASCAR driver Raphaël Lessard is raring to get back on the course as the organization adds some closed-door events to its schedule following a hiatus. “Simulations are well and good but there’s nothing like a real course,” Lessard told Le Journal de Montréal. “I’ve been waiting for this good news for more than two months. It was time to resume the competition.” NASCAR’s season was interrupted in March after its first four events.
