SPECIAL REPORT ― Vendors, retail buyers, and industry representatives from around the world shared some Canadian hospitality last evening at the Canada Night International Reception at the International Hardware Fair in Cologne, Germany. The event, hosted by HARDLINES and kindly sponsored by the show’s organizers, attracted about 75 people. Manufactuers included Task Tools and Swift Greenfilters from Vancouver, Cobra Anchors of Montreal, Ben-Mor from Saint-Hyacinthe, Que., and TC Tools out of Edmonton, got the chance to drink some German beer while meeting industry representatives from a range of countries. Canadian buyers were also there, including Canadian Tire, Sears Canada, True Value, and Home Hardware.
