TORONTO ― Duncan Fulton, senior VP at Canadian Tire Corp. and chief marketing officer for FGL Sports and Mark’s, has been named Canada’s 2015 Marketer of the Year by the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA). Fulton, who was instrumental in the rebranding of the former Sport Chek, has led the company’s strategy for the last six years to tie its brand to sports and Canada’s communities through a series of sponsorship agreements, experiential events, and integrated marketing and communication campaigns. The CMA Marketer of the Year Award is given to the individual who has continually displayed outstanding marketing acumen and leadership.
