CanWel Building Materials Group said this week its Q4 revenues increased by 37 percent to $402 million, compared to $293.4 million in the same period in 2019. The gain was attributed to strong home improvement activity and strong housing starts. Net earnings for the quarter amounted to $15 million. Revenues for the fiscal year rose by 21 percent to $1.61 billion, from $1.33 billion in 2019, with earnings of $59.6 million.
