MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Castle Building Centres has two new members in Alberta. Wood Buffalo Building Supplies, currently at a temporary location but bound for a three-acre lot minutes south of Fort McMurray, has four co-owners. Two of them, Lyle Duke and Jim Litz, are already Castle veterans, having operated Spruceland Lumber in Fort McMurray some 10 years ago.
Woodland Lumber and Building Supplies in Evansburg, has been family-owned and operated by Allen and Fern Liknes for over 25 years. After several recent renovations, it currently occupies a 5,000-square-foot retail space, along with a 12,000-square-foot warehouse and 3.5-acre lumber yard.
