MONTREAL ―Concordia University has announced that Annette Verschuren is among those who will receive honorary doctorates at the institution’s fall convocation. The citation for the degree invokes the Cape Breton native’s “vision and leadership in the business sector”, which includes her 15 years as president of The Home Depot Canada. Verschuren, who is already an Officer of the Order of Canada and a Canadian Business Hall of Famer, will address Concordia’s John Molson School of Business in November.
