VANCOUVER ― Conifex Timber announced it has closed the sale of Lignum Forest Products to subsidiaries of Canwel Building Materials Group. The value of the transaction was approximately $11.5 million, including some $10.5 million for working capital. Lignum is a lumber and forestry distribution brand active in Western Canada and the U.S. “We welcome the Lignum team to CanWel,” said CanWel CEO and Chairman Amar Doman said in a release. “We are proud to have this great company as part of the CanWel family.”
