Costco leans in on local products

Costco Canada will favour domestic products in its inventory, senior VP Marc-André Bally told Le Journal de Montréal. “We don’t have a percentage goal but I can tell you that if we have an opportunity to buy locally instead of from another country of region, we will buy local,” he said. The discount retailer opened last week its second Quebec store, located in Montreal’s Anjou district.
