ISSAQUAH, Wash. ― Costco reported Q2 net income of $931 million, or $2.10 per share, compared to $889 million ($2.01 per share) last year. The figure represented a 4.5-percent gain on the previous Q1 and was ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.07 per share. Overall revenues, including net sales and membership fees, amounted to $39,072 million, an increase of 10.4 percent from a year ago. The Zacks forecast was $38,366 million. Global and Canadian comp sales each rose 8.9 percent.
