Deal reached in B.C. port strike—again

We’ve been here before, but hopefully this time it’s for real.

On Sunday night a joint statement was sent out by the longshore and warehouse workers’ union and the B.C. Maritime Employers Association. It said the month-long impasse had finally been resolved. Both sides are encouraging their members to approve the deal. A previous agreement had been reached about 10 days ago, but it was rejected. No details of the new deal have been released.
