Dollarama Inc. reported its Q1 sales rose by 8.2 percent to C$1.52 billion, compared to a year earlier. That was higher than analyst estimates of $1.5 billion. Net earnings of $273.8 million were above both the previous Q1’s $215.8 million and a consensus estimate of $233.3 million. Comp sales for the quarter were up 4.9 percent.
