Duchesne et Fils Ltée is congratulating Francine Gélinas on her 50 years at the helm of the siding and roofing maker’s reception desk. She arrived on the job in August 1971 after completing secretarial school and an internship at a local credit union.
In the decades following she has distinguished herself as a member of several committees at the company. Clients look forward to her annual personal phone calls on their birthdays. She is active in charitable causes such as Duchesne’s participation in Centraide (United Way) and volunteers for an annual Christmas telethon.
