COLOGNE, Germany ― Trade fair organizer Koelnmesse says the International Hardware Fair (Eisenwarenmesse) will be rescheduled for February 21-24, 2021. The postponement of this year’s event was announced earlier this week after several exhibitors pulled out due to concerns about the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Europe. The show, which usually runs in alternate years, will exceptionally take place in both 2021 and 2022 “to meet the relevant industry cycles.” Koelnmesse will automatically refund all paid tickets over the next few weeks but its management disclaims liability for other losses such as travel costs, since the cancellation resulted from circumstances beyond its control.
Cologne hardware fair will return in 2021 and 2022
