OTTAWA — Canada lost 4,300 jobs in December, with full-time work up by 54,000, offset by losses in part-time jobs totalling 58,000. The unemployment rate remained at 6.6%. Employment gains in 2014 amounted to 186,000, with increases in the second half of the year accounting for most of the growth.
