BOUCHERVILLE, Que. ― Lowe’s Canada announced that the TeBrinke family, owners of Ace Agassiz Builders’ Ltd., inaugurated their new building in Agassiz, B.C., just a kilometre away from its previous location. The family business invested $1.8 million to build this new location, almost triple the size of its former one with three additional positions created. The new store boasts 4,750 square feet of retail space with an 800-square-foot garden centre, a 5,000-square-foot indoor lumberyard in a separate building and a 23,000 square-foot outdoor lumberyard. New categories included outdoor equipment and seasonal products. An official grand opening is planned for the spring.
