OTTAWA ― Giant Tiger celebrated the grand opening this past weekend of a new 15,785-square-foot store in North Battleford, Sask. The event featured free activities for customers of all ages, including face-painting, promotional and gift card giveaways and a visit from Friendly, the Giant Tiger mascot. Giant Tiger and store manager Steve Gray are to make a charitable donation to support The Lighthouse, North Battleford’s emergency shelter, as well as hosting a barbecue with proceeds going to the same organization.
