GMS enters NYC market

Gypsum Management & Supply has announced the acquisition of Tanner Bolt and Nut, founded in 1979 and based in Brooklyn, N.Y. Tanner president Jeffrey Tannenbaum and his team will continue to oversee the business, retaining the Tanner brand name. At the same time, the company announced new greenfield locations in New York; Greenville, N.C.; and Chester, Va. It has also opened new stores under the AMES banner in Fresno, Calif., Palm Bay, Fla.; and Concord, N.C.
