MONTREAL — The Garantie de Construction Résidentielle gathered consumers, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers to discuss best practices in the residential contruction industry, highlighting window installations and exterior surfaces. AQMAT’s Richard Darveau was among the participants in a panel attended by some fifty people. The non-profit GCR is responsible for administering Quebec’s warranty plan for new residential construction. It set up its Technology Monitoring Committee in February to seek and establish a consensus on best practices in home construction.
