OTTAWA — A Toronto law firm is representing a victim of the Home Depot data breach in a suit against the company and its Canadian subsidiary. Steven Lozanski of Ottawa is seeking to have the suit, filed Monday, certified as a class action. Lozanski discovered his Visa card had been compromised when it was declined by a hotel while he was planning a business trip. He later learned that $8,000 had been fraudulently charged to the account days after he used it at a Home Depot, CTV reports.
