Home Depot starts hiring for spring

TORONTO — Home Depot’s spring hiring surge will add 5,500 new workers, including some 2,600 new employees across Ontario. The new hires will focus on operational and sales positions at 181 locations across Canada. The company, which employs about 28,000 at present, hired 6,700 new employees in a similar effort last spring.
