Home Depot names CEO as chair

The Home Depot announced its board of directors has elected president and CEO Ted Decker as chair. He will officially succeed former CEO Craig Menear in the role on Oct. 1. Decker joined the company in 2000 and was named president and COO in the fall of 2020 before taking over as CEO in March of this year.
