ATLANTA — The Home Depot posted fiscal 2013 sales of $78.8 billion, an increase of 5.4% from fiscal 2012. The prior year had a 53rd week; not counting that week, sales for fiscal 2013 were up 7.2%. Same-store sales for the entire company for the year were up 6.8%, and same-store sales for U.S. stores were positive 7.5%. Earnings per diluted share in fiscal year 2013 were up 25.3%.
