ATLANTA — Home Depot is looking to have a federal lawsuit over last year’s data breach thrown out of court, the Associated Press reports. In a filing this week, the company argues that the plaintiffs did not suffer financially and most were reimbursed for any losses incurred, and that Home Depot did not act deceptively. The original suit has been divided in two processes, one for consumers and one for financial institutions. The company has not yet filed a response to the banks’ complaints.
