Home Hardware’s Homecoming event included the announcement of a partnership with the Scene+ rewards program. Starting in the summer of 2023, cardholders will be able to redeem points at Home Hardware stores.
Begun as an initiative between Scotiabank and Cineplex, Scene+ has expanded to include restaurant chains such as Swiss Chalet and East Side Mario’s and tech retailers like Apple and Best Buy. Earlier this year, grocer Empire Co. acquired a stake in the program, which is being rolled out on a regional basis at its banners, which include Sobeys and IGA.
