U.S. home prices down in November

NEW YORK —  Home prices dropped slightly in November for the first time since November 2012, as the latest Standard & Poor’s Case-Shiller index declined 0.1%. The dip, which is normal for November, does not represent a reversal of the housing recovery, the company said. Nine of the 20 cities in the index saw prices increase, USA Today reports, with the biggest hikes in Miami.
