Home resales down in October

Sales of existing Canadian homes declined by 5.6 percent month-over-month in October, according to the Canadian Real Estate Association. The actual (not seasonally adjusted) number of transactions came in 0.9 percent above October 2022. The number of newly listed homes fell 2.3 percent, the first decline since March.
