OTTAWA — Housing sales fell for the third straight month in December, according to the Canadian Real Estate Association. The number of home sales sold by realtors in Canada was down 1.8% from November. The number of newly listed homes dropped 4.3% from November to December. Activity now stands 5.2% below the peak reached in September 2013. However, actual (not seasonally adjusted) activity was up 12.9% over December 2012.
