KITCHENER, Ont. — Lew Dobbie, whose career took him to Howden, Chalifour, and TIMBER MART, died last week in hospital at the age of 71. Following his uncle into the hardware industry, he was a past member of the Burlington Golf and Country Club as well as past President of the Upper Burlington Optimist Club. He had a passion for harness racing and late in life renewed his enthusiasm for boating as a member of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron. Dobbie is survived by his wife Diane, his daughters Leah and Jodi, and their spouses.
