In memoriam: Robert Chimko

Robert Chimko, who joined Dakeryn Industries in 1991 and rose to become its president, died unexpectedly last month at 59. His tenure saw the company grow from a team of three employees to 150. Chimko got his start in the industry sweeping sawmills as a university student. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, children, Kaitlyn (Matt), Lauren, and Zachary.
