Aliaxis SA, which operates in North America under the Ipex brand, says it has reached an agreement to acquire the manufacturing business of the U.S.-based Valencia Pipe Co. The $250 million transaction will bring two production facilities and one distribution centre into the Ipex fold, in the states of Arizona and Washington.
In a release, Alex Mestres, Aliaxis’ divisional CEO of the Americas, called the acquisition “an excellent opportunity to expand our reach into the western United States.”
