BRAMPTON, Ont. — Loblaw Companies Ltd is opening its first Joe Fresh storefront outside North America with a flagship location in Seoul, the first of 10 outlets the clothing banner is launching in the South Korean capital this year. For Loblaw, it’s just the opening volley in a four-year plan to see 141 Joe Fresh stores in 23 countries in the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe, and South America. With more and more American retailers coming north, more Canadian firms may eye their own international opportunities, analysts told the CBC.
