NEW YORK — Sunday night’s edition of HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver featured a send-up of Lowe’s newly announced robotic store assistant pilot. Starring comedians Nick Offerman, H. Jon Benjamin, and Sarah Baker, the spot has Oliver suggesting that robots will never be able to replicate a hardware store employee’s most important function of all – buffering marital disputes. Then the show offers its own Home Depot counter-ad. Funny stuff!
