LONDON — Kingfisher plc, the giant home improvement retailer, reported a 2.9% increase in sales for the year ended January 31. Adjusted pre-tax profit fell 7.5%, however, to £675 million ($1.27 billion). Véronique Laury, who was appointed CEO back in December, said the company will be re-organized in a more centralized fashion to “unlock our potential.”
