Loonie hits two-week low

The Canadian dollar sunk to its lowest value in more than two weeks as last week drew to a close. On Friday, the loonie was trading 0.8 percent lower at 1.297 to its U.S. counterpart. That was below the rate of 1.298 reported on July 19, at the time a 20-month low.
