Lowe’s Canada announced the appointment of Guy Beaumier as vice president , operations effective October 6, 2014. Beaumier joins Lowe’s Canada with over 25 years of Operations and Merchandising experience in the retail industry. As Lowe’s new Vice President, Operations he will be responsible for leading the company’s store operations, store support, and commercial and installed sales. Beaumier has held various leadership roles with top retailers in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta including Loblaw, Labatt, Sobey’s, Acosta and Metro. Fluently bilingual, he graduated from the Université du Québec à Trois Rivières in business administration.
