TORONTO — Lowe’s Canada announced today plans to hire about 2,000 seasonal employees for the busy spring and summer selling seasons. The company will also host its first ever National Hiring Day on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (local time in each city) at all 37 Lowe’s locations across Canada. Job seekers can walk into any Lowe’s Canada store to learn more about job opportunities—and they can apply in person during the National Hiring Day.
The company is not only hiring for positions at all 37 Lowe’s stores, but also for its Regional Distribution Centre in Milton, Ont. In addition, Lowe’s is looking for staff for three new stores set to open later this year: in Lethbridge, Alta.; Saskatoon; and Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
