MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Lowe’s Cos. has launched a video chat tool to enable pros to make virtual visits to clients. Amidst the ongoing public health crisis, many plumbers, electricians and other professionals have seen jobs cancelled as homeowners shift to DIY projects. Lowe’s for Pros Jobsight allows them to conduct home visits remotely, while encouraging them to join Lowe’s loyalty program and purchase tools from its stores. Shoring up the ranks of its pro customers is part of the company’s turnaround strategy. It is also offering them a dedicated shopping hour at 6 a.m. and curbside loading and delivery at job sites.
