MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Lowe’s Cos. stores in the U.S. observed Memorial Day for the second year in a row by reserving and decorating one parking space at each store to honour the war dead. Stores participated in the National Moment of Remembrance at 3 p.m. local time across the U.S. and invited customers to participate. Prior to the holiday weekend, the company made a commitment of more than $4.5 million to military organizations that promote workforce development, support affordable housing for veterans and provide COVID-19 relief to first responders.
