WINNIPEG — With the imminent closing of 133 Target stores across Canada, one real estate pundit here believes Lowe’s is likely to pick up a few in Winnipeg. Target has four stores in Winnipeg, while Lowe’s has yet to set up shop. According to Jeff Doucette, general manager of Field Agent Canada, in an interview with the Winnipeg Free Press, RONA is another possible contender. However, spokespersons from both retailers declined to confirm any details of expansion plans.
Are Lowe’s or RONA contenders for Target sites?
