The price of Western Spruce-Pine-Fir 2×4 was US$490 again last week, according to Madison’s, flat with the previous week and up $28 from the previous month. SPF suppliers were impacted by a cold snap through the west, while the U.S. mid-term elections may have taken a toll on demand south of the border. The price of SPF during the second week of November was down by $130 compared to the same week last year.
