Masco Corp. said this week its Q1 sales increased by 25 percent to $1.97 billion; in local currency, sales rose 22 percent. In the plumbing division, sales rose by 31 percent, while sales of decorative architectural products were up by 15 percent. Operating profit rose 62 percent to $365 million.
