New location for northern Ontario RONA affiliate

Lowe’s Canada has announced the grand opening of a new RONA affiliate in Dryden, Ont., owned by Lori and Marc Palsson.

The Palssons acquired the store, which has been serving the Dryden area for over 40 years, in March and set about renovating it as a one-stop home improvement shop. It now features a new seasonal sales area as well as a kitchen, bath, and appliance centre.

“We are extremely happy to start welcoming customers in our new space as the province progressively reopens,” Marc Palsson said in a release. “We are so thankful for the hard work our staff has done to serve our customers via our curbside pickup service throughout the province-wide lockdown.”

The Dryden store is the Palssons’ third RONA store. To mark its grand opening, they held a physically distanced board cutting ceremony last week with local elected officials and members of the Lowe’s Canada affiliated dealer team.
