MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Lowe’s Cos. has announced that Robert Niblock plans to retire as chairman, president, and CEO after a 25-year career with the company. The board of directors has initiated a search for his successor, and in the meantime Niblock will remain in his current roles. “I look forward to assisting the board with its search,” he said in a release, “and I am committed to supporting a seamless transition for all of our stakeholders.”
